Good post. If you notice, 99% of the government officials around nowadays are people you DO NOT want to emulate. Nor do you hear of people who do want to emulate them. A government with a lack of leaders that a populace desire to emulate, I think, is a signal that the government is not functioning to serve the people. Rather, it is functioning for those with so few morals that they see it fit that they self-elect themselves.
